Abuse takes on many forms. Some types we are readily able to recognize, while some forms are very subtle. Abuse – whether physical, verbal, emotional or psychological – is abuse and it hurts.
This gathering will dissect and expose the many faces of abuse, such as the faces found on our Board that are hidden in many disguises.
Have you been secretly hurting and hiding behind the way you speak, in the way you dress, your job and how you handle relationships? Are you happy with being isolated and okay with being by yourself?
The dynamics of abuse can hinder how we live from day-to-day. It will continue to tell you lies.
