Waldorf Maryland is located 23 miles South of Washington, DC and has a population of about 25,000 people. When visiting Waldorf, you can find some facinating things to do. For example, there are a few museums of interest that are definately worth a visit. The Dr. Samuel A. Mudd House Museum is one of the most popular museums in the area where you can learn about the history of one of the city's most famous past residents. The Piscataway Indian Museum is another nice place where you can learn about the history and culture of the Piscataway. There are other places of interest that you should check out like the Gold Mine Saloon. It is a local brewery that is definately worth a visit when in Waldorf. You can take a few friends and check it out when you are in town. Or enjoy some of the great shopping that the city has to offer by visiting the infamous St. Charles Towne Center Mall. There are tons of stores for your shopping enjoyment or you can catch a movie in the mall theater. You can also dine in one of their restaurants without even having to leave the mall. If you want to enjoy some great nightlife, you can visit Choo Choos or the nightlife, and enjoy some great drinks and dancing. These clubs are open late and will have you partying into the night if you so choose. Although Waldorf is a little small, there are still lots of things to do. So be sure to check it out if you are in the area.
