Description
Alexanders invites you into antebellum surroundings where you’ll find a fresh approach to country cooking. This is southern comfort food at its flavorful best, served with style and in generous portions. The menu features both timeless favorites and unique dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients from local producers. Chef Smallwood prepares the barbecue on site and makes the house specialty, nutella ice cream, as well as a variety of other homemade desserts and ice creams.
Dining at Alexanders is casual, with a cozy ambiance that makes it an inviting gathering place for families and friends. Additionally, Alexanders is available to cater events here at our Buckeystown venues or at your location.
The main dining room is graced by a significant collection of statues created by John Rogers (1829-1904). These plaster statuaries (from 1859-1892) tell the story of everyday life, the theatre, Shakespeare, horses and the Civil War.
