Description
Chef Sammy Davis is one of the best culinary artists this country has to offer. His triumphs include a feature in Baltimore Magazine in which he was coined "One of the best Chefs to watch out for!"
His mass appeal throughout the city of Boston led to insurmountable fame. He would later display his skillset on "Chopped!", a televised cooking show made popular through the Food Network.
Davis made two appearances on the hit T.V. show, competing as a finalist during his first series, and later demolishing the competition during his second appearance. After facing defeat, Davis utilized his setback to garner a major comeback.
Once finishing as a Chopped Champion, Davis went on to win "D.C.'s Best Main Dish", a competition solely focused on the flavor of a single plate. Davis entered his mouth-watering, southern inspired dish Shrimp and Grits into the competition, leaving judges stunned by his abilities, subsequently propelling him to higher career heights.
